About Dr. MaryAnn Diorio
MaryAnn Diorio, Ph.D., grew up speaking two languages, Italian and English. After high school, she pursued advanced studies in foreign languages both in the United States and abroad and earned the B.A. in French, the M.A. in Italian Language and Literature, the M.Phil. in French and Comparative Literature, and the Ph.D. in French and Comparative Literature. She also studied Spanish at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
For over 30 years, Dr. MaryAnn, as she is affectionately called, has done both interpreting and translating for individuals and for national and international businesses. Dr. MaryAnn has also taught French at Regent University, Italian and Spanish at Camden County College, and Italian and French at Cumberland County College. She has served as a college liaison to the Italian Heritage Commission of New Jersey and has taught Italian for the Sicilian-American Club of Vineland, New Jersey. She has also provided private tutoring in Italian.
